We treat all of our replacement sills with wood preservative against rot including wet rot and dry to keep your windows looking as good as new for as long as possible. We are very reluctant to carry out splice and fill repairs as some joiners do; doing so only reduces the lifetime of the sash window and increases the frequency of repaints. Instead, we carry out a complete repair which we repoint with mortar or sealant before priming. Our sill and frame replacements are guaranteed for 5 years
